wich tranny do i have??
hey is there anyway to tell what my tranny is by the numbers on the case with out cracking it open?? it is supposed to be a si but it has the larger spline 21 i believe out of and 88??

21 spline = 88
pl3-3000 = Si as far as i know. there will be some stamps on the passenger end near the fill plug in the webbing, most likely filled with grime.

no just only the 88 have 21 splines... 89-91 has 20 splines on them...

I clamped a small pair of vise-grips to the main shaft
and marked a reference point on the case.
