Bergenholtz Racing has appointed Sav Leone as crew chief of Vince Tiaga's All Motor Mazda 3. He will be part of the Mazdaspeed Racing Team for 2005 and attending all the NHRA Sport Compact Events.

Sav Leone will not be paid in cigarettes but instead he will be compensated in the form of Spaghetti or Olive Oil.

He drives the yellow civic for NDRA and crew chiefs for Vince at NHRA events. So he should be at a lot of places this year.

This is probably going to be the busiest Sav and Vince have been since the last time y'all worked together, but, y'all work well together and a championship was the end result. Maybe this will help Sav's hopes of his relationship with Vince being more then just platonic.

Sav was only driving that car for us for Promotions and testing.

 

Ahhh Sav, he is my hero

I am glad to have Sav on board with me. We worked together in 2002 and took the IDRC Championships for 3 different divisions ( Eastern, Central and NATIONAL ) so with our experience working together, I am sure we can do some damage in the all-motor class. This time is different, last time Sav was driving and I was crewing for him, now it is the other way around. Should be a great time and I look forward to racing in my favorite class, ALL-MOTOR!
