No specs or mods list? Weaksauce!

why did you bother to label each piston? if you label the first one its not too hard to get the rest.

You label pistons because a smart person would take the pistons to the machine shop along with the block to have each cylinder sized to the piston going in it. Then you dont get confused when assembling it, and you have correct clearances.

machine shop labeled them when they bored the cylinders. they set the piston to wall clearance using each individual piston. im sure oem pistons are identical anyway, but it doesnt hurt

organization is really important in engine assembly and labeling EVERYTHING is a great idea. The pistons especially since each one is sized for each bore. I support the labeling build is looking good as well.

You have a very similar setup to me. I only have stage 1's and my stock gsr rods and crank. I put down 191whp with 137ft/lbs of tq. You didnt say anything about tuning, I love my hondata.

nice looking build bro, when you use an LS crank and rods, do you spec the rod bearings to gsr or LS spec? just wondering never done it before.

and you did the pistons the right way, each piston to each individual cylinder because no piston is exactly the same or exactly perfect

ls crank, ls rods....ls bearings
i havent looked in a helms in a while but if i remember correctly an ls runs slightly tighter clearances than a gsr but i think they still overlap slightly and that is right around where the bearing clearances are in this motor (between .015-.017)

skunk2 IM
AN-R IM gasket
ARP headstuds
AN-R header
OEM headgasket (11.7:1 CR)
Hopefully some sort of stage 2 or 3's.
Also using Uberdata or crome

i just picked up some stage 2 cams from skunk, there is a H-T sponsor selling them for ~510 bucks shipped.

Also, I found that crome is the better program between the two.

How come your CR is so high JDM ITRs should yield like 11.3-4 in a GSR is it because your using LS Rods?
