Default looking at options for my 91 civic hatch

hi guys hows it going?
anyway

i work at a junk yard and have so many hondas to **** with
i have a crx si
several 88 civic 4 doors

any way
i was thinking about swaping the crx si motor into my civic
but the wiring harness and computer has been taken
is it possible to put the 1.6 l si engine in with out the computer and wiring harness?
i have been thinking about puting the engine and trans in with my stock intake.
witch i am pretty sure will work but , it seems like the reward might not be worth the money.

what do you guys think?

any ways
i spotted this b20b2 engine the other day and was thinking about trying to put that in my civic

i dont know that much about hondas . i am a mechanic so i know what i am doing with cars but , am just new to hondas

right now i own a 1987 acura integra with the dohc
i own my 1991 civic 1.5l. i have already stole some items from the crx si like the clock mud gaurds ect....

i also own a 1990 honda accord f22a1 engine
i was swaping to the f22a6 but whn i got it installed the heads where cracked..
so back to the a1 i suppose that one

and i am selling my 1988 honda accord

any ways i need some advice or how tos on engine swaps into my 91 civic

The crx motor/tranny bolts into your car..
You use the wire harness in your car..Convert it to mpfi and use the crx si ecu..
The dx and std hatches have only 2 injectors(dpfi) And the crx si and hf have pg-mpfi(4injectors)...

If the crx si is a 90-91 take the rear disc brakes and put them on your car..

And I never heard of a b20b2 before>...........???????

i'm not sure, i'm kind of out of it tonight, but i think thats an old prelude motor, which isn't really worth it.

I thought the prelude 2.0l was called a b20a(2,3)..
And if that's the motor he's talkin about then it wont go into his car without extensive fabrication..Just look how the motor sits in the preludes..

If you want a b20 then get a b20b or b20z..as they are like any other b-series swap..The old prelude motors arent even compatible with the other b-series..
