About to do my swap shortly. In researching for this swap, i have found a few cases of the obd1 computer throwing a vss code. Are these isolated cases or is there something i need to do at the time i do the swap? If you have a 1st gen b16a swap running a OBD1 p30 post yes or no, and a brief explanation of what happend... TIA

 

i have a xsi obd1 swap cable vss and a p30 no probs.

 

I have a P61 (Similar to a P30, OBD1 B17A1 Computer) running on my B16 swapped 90 CRX. No VSS code

 

I have a p28 and a VSS code.....doing a search to find out how i can fix the damn thing.

 

i have a p30 in my b16 crx no vss code

 

It will be fine. Use the Dseries VSS sensor and the EF/ED cluster and cable.
