89 Accord

My 89 Accord won't start unless I slam it up toward reverse while turning the key.
Any ideas?

dude you have some serious problems. i would first off check the starter

Are you the same guy that was too lazy to clean a throttle plate? You'll probably need to remove the center console and check the saftey switch. Much more work than cleaning a throttle plate.
