okay i dont know where to post this since i have a hybrid ill do it here....

i have a 90 civic hatch dx w/ ls/Vtec
the car was fine for about 3 days i had to push start couple times then one day it wouldent start with the push so i went out an got a starter so i put it in an i got to start it an nothing no sound at all... guy(neighbor) comes buy tells me to ground my neg somwhere on the engine...i tryed it and vrooom the car starts

when i turn on my lights the engine sputters then stalls

problems:
-when the key is out of the ignition an i step on the brake the oil,batt,& check engine lights up
- when i turn on lights the engin shuts off...
-when i acc/gas engine sputters
-thatch jumps to 4 w/ the key on ON position

there more probs i cant think of but all i want to knoe is why does my engine shut off when i turn on my lights, i knoe theres a short some where but thats stupid b/c head light curcuit does not interferr w/ engine harness olny thing is vtec activator witch is my hight beam (already checked that)

sombody come help meeeeee find this short or whatever the hell the problem is or give me a shop that does it foe cheap....

its the ground

**** ground it somewhere goooood **** ****

ground it to the firewall or where the battery tray mounts

 

kool dude ..and i thought it was the mickeymouse eingine harness!!
