junkyard wants 325 for a si tranny.
Its the only all honda yard in the area... Called Honda Heaven... iono, maybe you gotta be in good with his lil crew to get **** for cheap, I know they got some FAST *** cars... but if youre just a average joe he will try and screw you.
why go to an all honda place? thats just an excuse for them to mark up prices. Go to some podunk pull it yourself place where they think imports are worthless. I go to u wrench it, and a few other places. I can get almost any ECU for $10. I have a friend that got a 99Si cluster for $1. if they dont know about hondas the prices are cheap

Yeah that makes sense, but imagine a place where u can go and find like 25 EF's all wrecked in different places, some damn near perfect on the inside
To be honest ive never been to any other junkyard looking for honda parts, i bet it would be hard to find one with a good amount of EF's on the yard.

damn the place here (pull-n-save) wants $25 for a Si tranny (but its messed up)
Only reason i didn't buy it and sell it for $50 here on HT is some freakin kids break into the yard and break stuff.
I almost bought a d16a6 out of a 91 Si hatch for $100 with everything complete. But someone drilled holes all over the block

i just rebuilt an L3 trans for a kid who searched everywhere within an hour of us. $275 was the cheapest no warranty, up to like 4-something with 30 day warranty. it was cheaper to get fully rebuilt.
