Very strange MIL code on 4cyl Accord..

Very strange MIL code on 4cyl Accord..
Ok I searched and came accross the MIL codes for Accords, and I noticed that a friend's '97 Accord (25th Anny.) is giving me a code 80.. strange because the definition for the code is a cylinder 6 misfire, obviously for 6cyl Accords only but this is a 4-banger.
Anybody heard of this before?

Code 80 is Exhaust Gas Recirculation: insufficient flow detected.
Cylinder 6 Misfire or a Random Misfire: a condition is present that is creating a cylinder misfire, is Code 76.
