Default tein suspension help

Whats up everyone. I recently installed my tein ss coilovers on my 2000 prelude. For some reason though, i hear this clanking like noise coming from the rear. Everytime i hit a bump it sounds like there is something moving around in my trunk, like a box or something. My trunk is empty however.

I checked it over and everything seems to be tight.

Anyone know what could be causing this.

peel back your trunk lining and re tighten each bolt on there i suspect its either one of the 3 bolts on the upper perch or the 1 bolt on the strut itself.

I have the flex on my 5th gen prelude, and it is the same story as you. My friend and I checked everything and it was all good. He suggested that maybe the pillow-ball joints were simply more noisy. Don't know if that helps or if it is relevant when talking about the SS coilovers, but I think it is probably the same principle, maybe nothing is wrong.

Look around, make sure you don't have any bolts that have backed out. If they managed to get loose, the entire assembly might move up and down, causing that clunking noise.
