oh yea one more thing am i gonna have any probems on the ODB conversions on both car or just with the EG.. my GSR motor is OBD2 but i dont know bout the k20

No downsides at all. Have you reasearched what it takes to get the K20 into an gsr? It's not as easy as a B-series swap into an eg. It takes a lot of parts, and a little fabricating. Check out http://www.k20.org they can probably answer your questions better than most of us.

are you kidding? what's the difference between puttin it in a GSR or an EG. I have done a good bit of research and I am fairly confident they are the exact same installation...

need to know the year of each car/motor to determine obd version. i think it's 96-98 (might be 99) is obdII-a, after that is obdII-b, and your eg is probably obdI

just so you know, that k20 swap is gonna cost a couple grand or so in parts, as well as needing some fab work. i think either k20.org or k20a.org is a forum dedicated to that motor; i'm sure someone there can help you out with better info than I have.
