Default Open Axle back or Open Header?

I have a exhaust leak at the axle back and another on the back of the muffler. The track opens next week and i wont be able to get a new exhaust by then so I was thinking about removing the whole axle back. Will this affect my performance?, or will unpluging the header from the cat be better?

It depends on your setup. If your not running much compression or are just running basic mods, You will lose power by running open header. I would recomend just taking off the axel back exhaust, you should be good. How fast is the car?
