There was a video on collegehumour.com awhile back of someone feeding them live rats (white rats like you can buy at pets stores). The rat would swim, lose a leg, swim, lose another leg..............you get the picture.

damn, this thread makes me miss my fish. i used to have two takes, one fresh water and one salt water. both extremely aggressive tanks. the fresh water tank had an oscar, a red devil, and a jack dempsey. they all ate pinky mice if i dropped them in. the salt water tank had a clown trigger fish (gave me a scar on my right arm), a lunare wrasse, and a lion fish (took my friend to the hospital from that one), they also ate mice (except the wrasse who would just bash the feeder gold fish against the rocks and them then tear them to shreds). i think i'm gonna go get another tank this weekend. haha.

very nice fish though, i always wanted a piranha.

this is my pacu, he ate all 3 of my dwarf puffers(my g/f hates my pacu, those puffers were her favorite) and i was just mad because i didnt get to see it!

hes about 6 inches long now, and got him when he was like 2 inches long about 6 months ago mabye? hes the coolest, i wanna get another one. do they respond well to pairs or should i get more than just two? need some info on it!!

You need to get your piranha some friends. Don't piranhas travel together? If so, he is probably lonely.
