Default SOHC Cam? WHich one to get?

any suggestions for a d16z6 cam that adds good power, engages vtec hard and loud, and also is good quality.

I just ordered a ZEX cam and will be installing it in a week or so. I'll let you know how that is, but the 59300 puts down 14whp on stock configs... or so I keep reading. The VTEC is aggressive, but I'll report back in a week with results.

Read the previous thread about a cam below yours.... it was said that OBX is making their cams out of forged steel, which has been known to tear up heads. Thats why most of the other cam companies are not doing that

yea I heard that too which is a bad thing i heard about them that they tear up the rocker arms. I am waiting on some quality reports on here. A lot of people said Hp stayed the same with skunk2 and OBX but they are worried about the quality so before I buy a OBX cam I will see if anyones on here rips up there rocker arms

not a problem

should be easy to hit that. anything over 330whp and it's basicly impossable to get traction, so ill prolly run it on the street with around 300..

i'd say go witht eh zex 59300 cam, you dont "have to" upgrade the valvetrain. And it makes a lot of power in the upper rpms, and vtec pulls pretty hard
