ET bracket rules.... someone please help
I made another post and then i decided i had more to ask...
I've read NHRA rulebook regarding ET bracket and i think it is vague...I have a couple of questions... someone please help me answer them..
1. rules say body can be modified, but must retain stock appearance... does this mean no 1 piece front ends? Fiberglass body panels? It says headlights may be painted on... this led me to belive you could use one piece front ends.... clarify?
2. Fuel cells permitted?
3. Weight Reduction/Chassis modification: rules say there can be no holes or slots in the floor, but chopping and lightening is permitted.. Does this mean i can chop the spare tire area etc. as long as a plate is welded over the hole? What are the exact limitations on weight reduction/cutting? removal of stock fuel tank permitted?
4. battery/alternator: Limitations on battery size as long as its mounted according to spec? removal of alternator permitted?
5. Suspension: rules state "rigid-mount suspensions prohibited"... does this include limit straps?
6. Exhaust: rules state the car must have a muffler. it does not however state that the exhaust must be rear exiting behind the rear wheels as state in SFWD and other class regulations.. Side exit exhaust permitted if it has a muffler? Only full exhaust permitted??
Someone please help.. i am getting ready to start building my race car; my plans are mostly a "test and tune all-star", but i'd like to occasionally compete and it looks like ET bracket is the only class i would be eligible to race in

i knwo you can run pretty much whatever you want in brackets, as long as its safe and no crazy holes in the frame and body.
1pc fronts ok, fuel cells ok, limit straps ok.
