Neptuned B16....New Numbers.....
Well, I'm sure most of you have read the previous threads about how I previously tuned the car and we weren't making **** for topend. After looking into things, we found out that there was damage to my cams and cam rockers which explained why the car would not make power over 7500rpm.
On Monday night, I installed some new GSR cams and ITR Cam Rockers out at Fast-Turbo.com with the assistance of Stan (Flamenco-T) and Josh from Endyn so that I could be ready for the race this upcoming weekend in Baton Rouge. Last night, Tony (Tony1) and I hit the dyno at Rotary Performance, starting from scratch with the new map to make sure that everything is perfect. Below is the dyno sheet and details on what went down:

Dyno Numbers: 372.0whp/256.2ftlb of torque @ 17lbs
Fuel Type: 93 Octane
A/F: 11.8-12.1
Timing: 16 degrees
REV Limit: 9200Rpm
Cliff Note Setup: 84.5mm Darton Sleeved B16, CP 9.5:1 Pistons, Crower Rods, Precision GT35E, Inline Pro Manifold, Precision 1000cc Injectors, Neptune..........
If you notice the dyno sheet above, in the top right hand corner, it has two dates stamped. The red lines on the dyno are from 2/10/05, when Tony and I first dynoed the car, and noticed that the power was not holding as it should. The blue lines are from 2/24/05 (Last Night). Keep in mind that the only thing that was changed with the setup was switching out my old gsr cams and putting in fresh ones, which gained us 40whp and 16.5ftlb of torque. Boost was kept at 17lbs and held solid with no spiking at all. No air/fuel numbers are shown on the dyno sheets because we used my PLX M300 Wideband to do the tuning with.
Both dyno sheets above are shown with SAE Smoothing of 5 because there is something going on with my ignition that is causing a wierd tach signal. We took my cap off, and there was some kind of dirt caked on the 4 little pins inside the cap. Cleaned that off and the signal got a little clearer, but not much. I've already recently put in new Honda Spark Plug wires and a new MSD Blaster 2 Coil. The rotor in the cap looked fine, so next I'm gonna put on a new cap, and eventually get a digital 6.
OK, here's some of the cool ****! So, has I have explained before, Neptune has got some really great features that Hondata does not have. As far as my car goes, we are using the Full Throttle Launch Control which is a built in 2 Step with other the neccessary ignition components (ie-MSD 6AL,etc). We have the launch control set at 5500rpms, and it turns off after the car reaches 25mph. My Turbo XS Dual Stage Boost Controller is also controlled by Neptune, and will switch from low boost to high boost when the car reaches 50mph with only 40%+ throttle position. So, if I'm just cruising around and I'm above 50mph, then the car will stay at my low boost setting. If I am over 50mph, and over 40% throttle then the car will switch to the high boost setting.
But here's where it gets REALLY cool....at least I think so.........so say you are a person like me who occassionally runs into someone that wants to do a highway run. Neptune has Gear Based Ignition Timing where you can go in and add/subtract timing by gear! So, what we did was pull a few degrees of timing in 5th gear just incase I were to have a run in on the highway, I'll know the car is going to be safe! Or say I was making a great deal of power which caused major traction problems for me. With the Gear Based Ignition feature, you can pull a few degrees in first gear to help the power down to the ground, and then have everything be back to normal as soon as you get into second gear.
Overall, I am EXTREMLY happy with the way everything has turned out.
Tony has taken great care of me and has been great with the Neptune system. I would also like to thank JR (HRTuning) for his willingness to take the time to listen to my questions about Neptune, and provide responses. By Monday I will have some track times for you guys if all goes well.

Gear based ignition trim, not gear based boost
Just a note, it also has individual cylinder ign and fuel trim.

Thanks for all the replies. The race gas tune will be coming, and should be within the next few weeks. The Turbo XS is working out great and much more effective than the AVCR. Also, I am using a Tial 38mm wastegate and .7 bar spring.
