in the morning when i start my car on a cold start usually the RPM goes up to 1500 and stays there till warm then slowly drops. but now when i start it it only goes up to 1200 or 1000 rpm and stays there..seems like it bogging a lil...then drops like normal when engine warms up..i dont know if it has to do with fuel or sumthing. please help me out accord guro's thanks very much!

 

Seems like that is pretty common. Ive never had idle problems. Someone help this guy out.

 

its really no big deal in your case... but IF YOUR REALLY want to fix it... not sure how much the actual cost of the part is but I'm guess ~$200. You can replace your fast idle air valve. I would leave it.

 

I would try running some fuel injector cleaner....use something with Techron in it. It is a good starting point.
