Your best bet would be to use the Si tranny. It will bolt up to the SOHC VTEC motor, and more importantly, bolt up to your car with your existing mounts. The B16 tranny will not fit the SOHC VTEC motor, but will fit the GSR motor.

You can either use a cable b-series tranny or you can get hasports cable-hyro kit when you get the b18c to use a hydro tranny....Hasport.com

And why are you calling it single v-tec?..Its sohc vtec..

And as far as batterys you can relocate it to the back..Or buy a smaller battery like hawker or something along those lines..Batterymart.com

It fits but its hydro and your car is cable so you have to find a way to activate it..So hasport came out with a kit to put a hydro tranny in a cable car..

If you're asking if it will fit the sohc vtec motor then,no, it wont fit that motor..
