Default HID retrofit = new pics.

HID retro club, accept meeeeee damnit haha well, tonight I hooked up E46 bixenon. Ran into some trouble with hibeam tho cuz only the pass side was working, but i tested it before install and both worked, so I guess just some wiring I gotta test tomorrow. Anyways on to the pix0rz

the garage is too small, and the car doesn't run LOL so no beam shots mRgSr sorry...

working on turbo install ATM, waiting for it to come back from ceramic coating... so car no worky

Why would he get flashed?
He's using oem projectors made for HIDs

I used to have 6000K HIDs in the OEM housing before and never got flashed. I don't expect to get flashed with this... look at that cutoff man.

not much color tho

but I dun care, when I turned them on, I thought God smiled on me it was so bright

thanks guys, I really took my time with the install. it's double adjustable, thru the OEM reflector adjustment, and thru the spring loaded mounting bolts.

here it is in around day 5 of the project..



as for cost... say $280 on ebay for E46 projectors plus a $100-150 of miscellaneous crap like connectors, wire, relays, and the bixenon hookups

damn good job bro Im using the E46 bixenon's as well but im using the ECE spec.

I also did a E55 bixenon retro but the E46's are nicer so im sellin the E55's

That looks awesome! Hahahaha mine's spring loaded too but I was wondering, what's behind the spring? Is that a plastic spacer? That's one area I have to figure out before installing mine in...
