here's a question for somebody who knows or has experience, what exactly "<U></U>exactly<U></U>" makes the JDM DC5 Type R complete center console not fit with the US spec RSX. Anybody got one of these, or tried to fit one of these or force fitted one of these? Can i get the actual e-brake from a DC5R and make it happen? And for all you would be's who will waste my time with "JDM is gay" or "stock is better" appreciate the fact that I don't agree with you. I'm not to keen on JDM civcs, or JDM CR-X's. But there's a difference between JDM and Type R. JDM is a fad some follow. Type R is a status. To some of us the the Red Badge still means something.

 

Yes, I have done it in my DC5.



It does fit with a small gap at the top. To make it work, you need to swap the two front panels that connect to the dash from your USDM console and put it on the JDM console. Since the USDM ebrake is fatter, you need to trim the small piece in front of the ebrake.
