I installed headers on my b16 while I was in highschool about 2years ago and I just used one o2 sensor because the header only had one bung I was just wondering what kind of o2 I should buy to make dual o2 so I can have it set up the right way I heard I could use a o2 sensor thats universal and just get and o2 bung welded in let me know what you guys used of course I did this so long ago I lost the original o2 sensor.

 

i just used a universal 90 Integra o2 sensor from the local parts store. worked fine for me.

 

go to Autozone, if you have one in your town, and ask for a Bosh O2 sensor for a second gen CRX. They come in either a universal type where you have to cut the plug off your existing O2 sensor and the other has the factory plug.
Ge the universal one since it's about $20 cheaper and you most likely will not be able to use the factory type plug.

 

go dual O2 sensors, way less headaches!

 

Quick question....I'm about to do a swap. Will getting new O2 sensors help performance in anyway? I am planning on replacing them regardless, but other then emission purposes, I don't even know what the use of them are.

o2 sensors tell you how rich or how lean your engine is running and I dont think new ones will help unless your old ones are trashed.
