Can I re-use a weld-on muffler if cut off?
I had my magnaflow street series muffler (2.5 inch inlet) welded to a 1 foot piece of 2.5 inch piping, and that was welded to my stock piping. It sound really good actually, but I want to get full SS piping to the cat. Is it possible to cut the old piping off and reweld new piping? Will this effect performance?

don't think so you just need to do figure 8 welding or get a thick drag rod to fill in the hole from the cut most likely
