H22A swapping into a 4WS???
Has anyone ever swapped a 1992-1995 JDM H22A motor into a 1991 4WS prelude before? And if so, is it worth it and how much did u pary for it. Ive already searched and couldnt find much but i kno that motor mounts for that is pretty hard to find so does anyone kno where i could get engine mounts to put that motor into the 4WS??? Thanks in advanced!

Of course its been done. The main prelude on hpoa.org or preludeonline.com did it. It is very tricky and involves a lot of custom fabbing. However, I do love 3rd gens and I miss my si 4ws

Custom fabrication comes from mainly motor mounts and tranny mounts. Estimate of total cost would probably be about $5500-6500.

A b20 head wouldn't fit on an h22. Also, H22 in a 3gen would be very nice, there's a site (don't remember the link offhand) that has quite a few H22-swapped 3gens. If you can, and the car isn't your daily driver (I hope it's not), do it yourself. Get a friend who's done something similar to help you out, but it will be MUCH more rewarding when you're finished.
