crx si missing a bolt
hey I just noticed on my crx that I am missingthe top bolt from the front engine mount. The one that goes into the tranny from the front mount on the front x-member. Can someone tell me the size and thread pitch of this bolt if anyone knows it off the top of their head. Thanx
but its a good idea.hell its not a swapped motor and hond did put it there for a reason. im sorry i dont know the auctual size of the bolt. the best thing you can do is go to the junk yard.im auatcually going tomarrow to get some tranny mount bolts.i thought i had a bad wheel bearing. it turns out i was missing a sub frame bolt *ouch*
Here's a link for parts list. Hope that might help.
A front mount isn't needed? I know that the front mount probably takes the most abuse of the 4 mounts. Mine was completely worn out, gone, when I did my swap, which I think is pretty common. Not doubting you can get by running with out it if you're in a bind or something, but I'm doubting it would be a good thing to do permanently.

You don't need it? BWAHAHAHAHAA.....That's good..If you are running a B-Swap that has incredible stiff other three mounts you will be fine but I ran my A6 in my Sedan for two months without the front mount and everytime I would hit the gas it would A) Hit the Firewall and B)Tear up the other mounts
