Default Posted in Tech, but maybe this will work better. Skunk2 VS. GSR manifold

Does anyone have a dyno plot before and after install?
I'd like to really know if the S2 IM makes a major difference over the stock unit.

I've been considering going back to the GSR IM for the added torque in the low end.

Thanks.

Does it feel like you lost a lot of low end? What other mods do you have?

Personally I think Skunk2 is all hype. If you use the old muscle car theories you can make the stock GS-R manifold work very nicely for you (hint).

Stock for stock honestly i would say stay with the gsr manifold. The s2im on a stock gsr loses a noticable amount of mid range and gives back a few ponies up top. Personally not worth the money or install time if you are not planning to mod past i/h/e. Also with the gsr's low vtec crossover it should be raised to abou 4800 -5100 rpm

red = skunk2
blue = GSR

no other changes (other than tuning of course)
