It's been a long time since I've been to this forum, but you all seem to be the best resource for any question.
I'm lookin' to buy a newer Civic hatchback (it's usually the cheapest model, I think) than I have now. Before 2001, when was the last year Honda made the Civic hatchback? When I search for hatchback in all threads, the latest year mentioned is the '95. I'm looking for something newer and recall seeing newer hatchbacks.

 

2000 was the last year.
Thats the 96-00 body style.
There is no hatchback for 2001..
But the Hatchback will be back for 2002 with Si being the only trim level.
For future reference use the EG+ Civic/DelSol forum if youre asking about newer civics.
Youl will get a better responce there anyway.

Its better than no hatch at all..or another Si coupe bleh.
Ill wait till I see it in person and test drive it before I decide if I like it.

 

well i saw it in the magazines first and last sunday i saw it in person and wow its still ugly and the 99 -2000 si was still a great car id take one in a second id rather have a integra type s (rsx only in the us) but i love the si man if they put the b16 in the hatch it would have made sense but they were thinking marketing it to young people but then they saw that we want hatch so they build one and its but and looks like a minivan the new si is also slower than the previous 2000 and 1999 si the 99 was the faster of the 2
