Default SCCA School @ WS 2/25-27...Any Honda Cup guys here?

Are any of the Honda Cup guys that are signed up for the SCCA school at Willow Springs this weekend regulars around here?

The event at Willow Springs this weekend is NOT a Scheduled Honda Cup Championship event. However its great to hear that we have 5 NEW Honda Cup drivers going for their licenses this weekend! ... Brian, Dane, Jeremy, sorry I don't remember the other two guys names? Good Luck to you all.
A reminder to all intending Honda Cup drivers, you should get your SCCA membership and Licenses organized now...
If anyone is intending to Run Honda Cup, and has previous racing experience and/or holds a Racing License with any other organization... Contact me and I'll send you a FastTrack Licensing Pack from SCCA Cal Club so you can possibly by-pass having to attend school.

Remember the next event at Buttonwillow is NOT a HONDA CUP Championship event either, but All the top Cars and drivers and some New drivers will all be there testing the new, yet to be approved Tires... Toyo, Handkook, Falken, etc.

If you have a car that is not on the Honda Cup approved list... ie (NSX) Buttonwillow is the event to come and test it at. Lets see what needs to be done to make it eligible to run in the Championship?

Good Luck

Cool, Jeremy. Can't wait to meet ya.

Kiwi, sorry if I made it sound like it was a Honda Cup event, I didn't mean to. I had noticed on the school entry list that there were several HC entries (and not a whole lot of IT entries with me ) so I was looking forward to meeting some of them.

I'll see you all out there tomorrow night.

I will see you tomorrow sir! Can't wait to say "hi" either!

I did not know you were entered in the school. Glad I will know someone there. We can "play" together! My car is no where near the speed the cup guys are yet with the B16 in it, but it will be good for the class!

Introduce yourself to Brian Slames (Scooby) Special Projects New Mechanic...
Brian will be driving our BUDDY CLUB Project, Civic Coupe to get his license. You guys should all have a great weekend playing together.
A word of advise... You don't have to prove anything to anyone, Stay cool and smooth, and the speed will come later. The instructors and licensing people are not expecting to see you break any records, they will be more impressed by smooth driving rather than fast driving... Above all have FUN!
Good luck to all of you, and I hope to see you at Buttonwillow, all with new licenses?

KIWI is right guys, just keep it cool out there. I got yelled at when I was doing my Super school, I just though going fast was the way to impress, but I was dead wrong. Its never fun to get yelled at buy an 65 year old Irish man with a walking kane that can kick your *** with his 89 Jag.

P.S learn your flags right, people got cut because of that.
