Default Can you take the tranny "shield" off w/out seperating the tranny?

I have a 93 auto accord. The other day I replaced my starter but dropped a bolt into the tranny case. It's probably at the bottom near the "tranny splash shield/guard"

My question is that CAN I take off that "shield" with out pulling the tranny off?
is the oil pan going to have to come off too (since it looks tight)?

TIA

yeah you can take it off without removing the oil pan, or transmission, its only about 3 bolts.
