Need HELP on H&R race springs. Please read! Thanks.
Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a set of H&R race springs for a 4 cylinder 1999 Accord LX sedan. The correct part number for these is 51853-88. When I received the springs I checked and found that although the front springs had the right part number the rears had part number 51858-88. According to H&R's website, this is the part number for a set of race springs for a sedan with a V6. I contacted my seller and he says that I have the correct rear springs. I am not convinced and wonder if you guys can help me out. I know some of you may have the same set of springs and was wondering if you had any such problem. Please help. Thanks!

The rear springs will fit, but will not be as low as on a V6 model, because of the added weight of the motor.
One spring manufacturer stated that the V6 will be 1.5" low and the 4cyl will be 1.25" low because of the weight differences, but they will still work, they WERE made for the accords.
