FSP wheel selection help...
I've recently come into a set of about half-worn hoosier RS303's from a SpecRX7 racer in 205-60-13, so it has me thinking about running FSP this year... so I'm looking at wheels. Probably Diamond Racing mini stocks due to price, stuck between a 13x7, 13x8, or a 13x9 (rediculous ). Given the largest 13" size tire that I've seen is the 235-45-13 V700 (with the 225-45-13 RS304 and the V710 215-50-13 not far behind), what do you guys suggest I run? I know i can fit 13's as my car came stock with them, but I'm not trying to have the tires stretched too far.
Car will mainly be autoX'd, with maybe two HPDE's this season at Summit Point.

I would run as wide of a tire/wheel as you can fit. The widest tire available right now is the Hoosier 225/45/13 (The Kumho 235/45/13 V700 is in fact more narrow). However, the new Kumho V710 is supposed to be better than the New Hoosiers but is only available in a 215/50/13. Supposedly there will be a 235/45/13 V710 eventually. Right now I run the Kumho V700 235/45/13 because they are the cheapest and last the longest but will always get spanked by Hoosiers (old or new compounds).
As far as wheel size goes, wider is better. When using 225 or 235 tires you have a range of 7" to 9" to choose from. 8.5" is the most popular size but I have seen 9" done.
Edited: 215/ 50/13.

I went 13 x 9. My new set of wheels is also 13 x 9. A stretched Hoo$ier is a happy Hoo$ier.
Also, your wheels are gonna last a lot longer than those tires. I wouldn't compromise on them for the sake of a set of "wrong" (smaller than ideal) sized Hoo$iers.
