opend up the hood this morning, i notice oil leaking from left corner under the distributor and to the the front drippin down the tranny case since oil looks moist there and i just drove the sol for the first time after storing it for 2 months..

does this mean my headgasket needs to be replaced?? this is a d16z6 auto tranny

 

i dont know much about that engine,but i know on the b-series,when its leaking oil there,its most likely the cam seal.

 

dont think my d16z6 has cam seal there..since it is sohc

 

All SOHC's have cam seals.

I meant location of cam seal

 

under the distributor? remove the cap and check.
