Default ctr cams on a pr3 head rocker scarring?

I noticed that some pr3 (b16a) heads first gens have a problem with ctr cams. The cams would coil bind the valve springs and scar the rockers and the cams. I was wondering why it only does it on some pr3 head and not others. Also I noticed that second gen heads are less likely to have that problem.

i'm pretty sure the 1st gen b16's came without dual valve springs, but why the rockers tend to show more wear is beyond me.

well perhaps the fact that a first gen head is between 10 and 14 years old might ahve something to do with it....

Ive had GSR cams in my 1g B16a for almost 3 yrs. Granted, they arent the aggressive cam that the CTR is but I have no excessive rocker arm wear. The motor has probably 120k on it. My .02

The b16a gen 1 head in question does have dual valve springs on the intake side. And thats where only the scarring on the rockers happened. Maybe to stiff of a spring...(it's not the stock valve springs). The springs are extremely stiff...turbo valve spring on a high lift setup= ?
