This might sound weird, but would you be willing to use a multimeter and tell me the resistance of the knock sensor? It's very important.

It's cool man, and I should be able to check that today for you!

 

I measured the resistance between ground and the one pin on the knock sensor and it showed no connection. A knock sensor is just a microphone if you were wondering, it doesnt work of resistance it listens for sounds from the engine an the ecu has a circuit for decoding what frequency is knock

How can that be? The circuit has to be complete otherwise the sensor won't work.

 

Might have measured it wrong, but it came off a low-miles (like 28k) 2000 civic, I'm sure it works and if it doesnt let me know!
