How is it, It cost me less to build my astro van than my civic? 2 less piston-2 less rods- ect? Rods are both eagle yet they cost more then ones for a h22? I think all these companys charge more just because more people got into hondas since the fast and the retarted! I understand that 4.3 is the came parts as a 350 but still they should be more than a 4 cyl! Any comments????Any reps from any of these companys look on h-t and can give an honest answer!

you said it in your post. the 4.3 is identical to the 350 and has been around forever. and so many people make parts for them. plus right now imports are "the hot ****"

Its more supply and demand, people want them and suppliers will charge whatever they want for it.

 

I know that imports are the hot thing but don't any of you feel like your being screwed buy these companys? So what if they have been out forever? There taking our hard earned money for no real reason!

 

I just bagged it this weekend and got my 20's, now its time for me to build the header cuz I'm turboing it !! I know I know!! WHY cuz as the plate that I just went to the secretary of state and ordered. It says IMSICK!!

 

Its just wrong 6 ross pistons and 6 eagle rods were 650. 6 cpr 76lb injectors 175, accel dfi gen6 450 with harness(used) 2 t-3/4 turbos 1100. All the tubing to make the headers 200 and 100 for laser cut flanges! And for me to get the trans built 550.

domestic motors are a dime a dozen. 4.3 305 350 all share a good majority of parts so like said about they been in production for many many years. just face it when it comes to imports you have to pay to play

 

But that doesn't answer!! I have a bussiness degree so I understand that. There is just a much demand for imports i.e. 4cyl motors. It has to be because everyone is getting into smaller performance motors so they know we'll pay it cuz we have to! Not because of the lack of demand!
