Default 5th gen ECU

My friend put a turbo on his 3rd gen teg and chipped his stock ECU. He said that if my ECU is simular to his he can do the same thing for mine. Anyone know?

question too vague.

i assume chipped , meaning chipped to run an engine management system like hondata or uberdata. if thats the case those programs dont support 5th gen POA, POB, POH, POJ ecu's but do support your friends p72 ecu.

but if he means chipped, with like a mugen or spoon chip, i dont see how those would work well with a turbo.

Wow.. I'm learning so much!

On a serious note, it's awesome to go through these forums and just read. I'm learning a ton of stuff. This place is awesome...

Sorry for hijacking your thread. I have no clue about messing with a stock ECU...
