Ok i have a honda that i use for show and so i started thinkg mayb i should get a daily driver. so i found a eclipse GSX for 5900. but i have you question. when you put it in 3erd and it is below 2000 rpm it goes nowhere. nomatter how much gass you are giving it. but then after it getsabove that it goes fine. any one have any idea what it is. and how much would it be to fix it?

You do realize an Eclipse is a Mitsubishi right? And that Mitsu's arent Honda's?

Would it make sense if I went and registered on a Mitsubishi site and then started asking them questions about my Honda?

DAMN theres some ******** on this board. Now wonder people on other boards rag on people from the honda boards. Granted I own a civic but I have been on probe boards and mustang boards and DSM boards and none of them **** on people like that. IT'S NOT THAT SERIOUS!!! Even Club Si isnt this bad.

i had a gsx once, its prob boost lag, that is about the rpm when the turbo starts to spool.
beware, dsm's are a pain in the *** to work on
awd launches are the greatest things ever

What year GSX? if you have a 2nd gen there known for crankwalking so watch out for that.

But what your probably feeling is boost lag. It happens in all gears right? whenever your under a certain rpm you dont move but when you hit like 3 or 4k the car takes off right?

Also because with awd.... you cant pop the clutch like other cars.

 

FIRST YALL NEED TO STOP BEIG *** HOLES I HAVE AHONDA THAT GOES TO SHOW AND IS SPONSORED BUT I NEED A DALY DRIVER. ne ways it only happens in 3erd. and the turbo works grate no turbo lag at all it kicks in at about 2800 rpm but only in 3er when it is under 2500 it do not work.

To add some info, i know they have alot of tranny, and in your case, transfer case problems. Easy on the launches and treat it good. Something may already be messed up.
