i dont have them but i heard they DO NOT shine any better. They were made for rhd vehicles. Unless you do a HID retro fit.

I do not know why everybody trips over the rhd thing ... You can adjust the glare outta them with the bottle cap adjustment points on em and they are a lot brighter than stock plus they look a whole lot better they adda touch of class to the prelude

actually, i have the jdm one pieces in my prelude. There's a flare on the road at night where the right light shines. It's not too bad, but the beam pattern isnt as good as the USDM versions, obviously. Get them and do a HID retrofit, halogen sucks anyway.

Roughly the same as stock, 1 million times better than projectors....unless they're custom HIDs or something...

When I was talking about projectors, I wasn't referring to that **** you buy on ebay for $10 after you've saved up your lunch money by eating only skittles for a month. I was talking about Audi/Lexus/BMW projector housings inside JDM 1 pieces, with good (not knockoff ****) ballasts/bulbs.

You'll need to buy the projectors, which you can find on ebay for like $150. Then, use the search button to find the thread where the dude's selling HID kits. Get the right one, wait for all your **** to come in, then use the search button AGAIN to find the DIY for making HID 1 pieces. All in all, it'll cost around ~$500, not including the 1 piece headlights.

There's a black housing version, and a chrome housing version. The black one is cheaper, and i think it's the stock one. I don't know where the chrome one came from, but I see them all over the place.

Yes, there are both versions. The black housings are stock "JDM" and personally, I like the black housings a lot better. If you want chrome housings, stick with your usdm ones.

yeah I second that you can defiantly pick up a pair of the chrome ones on ebay for cheaper. The black ones are so much better looking Ill be putting mine on my car this weekend.

I have a pair of hids Ive been running in my usdm lights that look amazing. I have always liked the way an hid looks without the projector. I had to custom fit the hids with an h4 base for them to fit in the jdm.

^^ hey man be sure to keep us updated with the HIDs.. do you mind telling me what kind you are purchasing.. i also want to get HIDs but don't want to do the retro projector fitted... it takes away the essence of a once piece JDM in my opinion.. but also looks good... and i don't want to blind on coming cars too.. so i guess i'm *** out!
