I did some research and found lots of problems with turbo's on auto transmissions. However, I have a 5-spd. Anyone know of any problems with the FMAX on the manual transmission?

 

No? Honduh.com has alot of boosted 6th gens... you might want to check that out for answers. But long story short, there have been a lot of blown F23's recently... specifically the ring lands... ie. It might not be the best choice unless you plan on building the motor first.

 

Do you know hom much boost those F23's were runnin? The FMAX kit I was gonna hook up was about 6-7psi boost

 

Ummm... none of them were running over 10psi, I know that for a fact... Its pretty much a game of luck w/ the F23, unbuilt...

 

Do you know where I can find some internals for the F23? I have looked EVERYWHERE and can't find a thing! Thanks for the help!!!

 

Again, most of it's been covered on http://www.honduh.com ... search over there, there are a couple post about random forged F23 internals from various companies, that I honestly don't remember off hand.

 

if it is tuned well you shouldn't have any problems
