hey guys, right now i have a cd5 accord-t and i want another project car, im leaning towards a ek hatch. my question is what DONT you guys like about them? also whats the usual typical swap for an ek hatch, gsr? alright thanks guys, im new to the civic/del sol forums.

I have a 98 hatch. Other than the slow-*** stock engine (easily remedied with a b-series swap) I love it.

 

well there reallyisn't anything i don't like about mine... I dunno about everyone else but i was leaning twords a GSR swap , but i think alot of people do a Si swap and make them prety much a Si hatch .. u can swap a Si cluster right in them also , thats a plus

I love my ek, you have to swap the motor out though and it is wise to build the thing before you install it and save your self a ton of headaches. Personally I have a b16a with built bottom end and all kinds of goodies but if I were going to do it again I would go with more torque b18 probably K series.
