i think those are some unused plugs. i have a b16 in mine and i have like a couple unused plugs just hanging there. just drop the motor in and start it up. if it throws a check engine light, find out what code it's throwing and go on from there.

Have you consulted a manual? If you dont have one you should realy think about getting one. I couldnt have finished my swap without it. I just pulled the harness off my old engine not labelling anything. I was screwed, I didnt know what plug whent where. So, I started with a sensor, found it in the manual and the looked up the wire colors for that sensor. Then I found the plug and attached it, then moved onto the next sensor. It took a while to hook everything up, but it all turned out good. Another good piece of advice is to get your self some dielectric grease. I used it on mine but the only plug I forgot to put grease on had poor contact and caused me some problems. Sorry I cant help you with more than this but I hope this can help you in some way.
Some of those look like plugs for an auto. What harness are you using now?
If you could give me how many pins they are and what color wires they are i could tell you what they go to.
But if you cant, start the car up and whatever code your throwing thats whats missing a plug.
Also the top piece i believe you could just tap into a vac. source. Unless if your in cali then you need to know the correct spot that needs to go, which sadly i dont know sorry.

That is an obd2 harness. Just use your stock harness. The plug by the alternator looks like it is for Crank angle sensor, the plug by the starter looks like reverse lights, the 3 wire plug in the back (your middle arrow) is the VSS plug, the black plug I have no clue and the other one looks like O2 sensor plug (should be 4 wires). As for the blue box on top, thats for EVAP. Just cap it off unless your in cali. Then run the proper vacuum line for it.
Also, are you going to run the obd2 distributer? Cause that is the single obd2 disbritutor plug. Obd1 dizzy's run a 2 plug setup due to the CAS, CFS etc being in the dizzy
pic 1 the middle fat connector is vss <vehicle speed sensor
small grey connector to the right is the reverse switch <goes to tranny
balck plug I need a better picture
pic 2 is the crank angle plug
you are better usuing the ex harness for simplicity purposes the only plugs you wont use on that harness is vtec pressure and vtec selnoid also keep in mind p28 harness doesn't use a knock sensor
