Default i dont get it...CCs?

basically is it the more cc's the more the power? i got my honda catalog today and im reading it. the catalog makes it seem like the rc51 is the best bike int he lineup but its only 999cc compared to the 4th bike on the line up which is the 1100xx which is 1137cc.

the line up goes rc51, 954rr, 600f4i, 1100xx (1137cc), Superhawk (996cc), and interceptor (781cc)

so can someone explain this concept to me?

please dont be too harsh on me, im a dumb newbie on bikes, hence my dumb questions

CCs or cubic centimeters is just a mesurment of the bike's engine displacment. ie, the CBR600F4I is a .6L bike to put it bluntly. The CBR11000XX is NOT the best bike HOnda makes. The RC51 and CBR954 are. They are both about 1000CCs or 1L bikes, but the RC51 is a V-Twin and the 954 an inline 4. There are advantages and disadvatages to each. The 4 is a better high reving bike and makes more HP, but lack slowend grunt. The V-Twin has lowend grunt but lacks high end power. They are both VERY fast bikes capable of hitting the 160+ mark.

The 954, 600, and RC are more like race bikes compared to the inteceptor, 1100XX and Super Hawk. The last 3 are more like sport tourers and usually get a smack down on the track by riders of the same ability level.

And yes, Honda says that the %1 is their top sport bike, but i sat the 954 and 51 share that honor
