When I bought my car the previous owner put a cf hood on and the fit ment sucks!! Its like the curvature is too extreme for the fenders, it basically bows upward towards the center (where the hood meets the fenders)

I've played with the hood stops and the hinges and nothing will fix it. I can get it to fit right when I press on it, so its a bit flexable, maybe if I cut a few of the webbing supports out? I already have hood pins as well. What about heating it up some?

 

hell no.....just leave it as is...its jdm...j/j but seriously leave it otherwise youll **** it up....its not an "oem" hood so of course it wont fit right...my hood isnt perfect so expect nothing less

 

sell it for a) another one b) trade it for a stock hood. c) take it to a place that ca repair carbon fiber.
