Im looking to buy a 1995 Honda Prelude for a winter car and till i get my 240 done. The owner told me he would let it go for 2000$ or best offer. I asked him what the lowest he would go and he said 1800$ but now that it dont start i think i can get him lower. The car is in overall good condition but rust on quarters. The floor boards arent rusted at all and the interior is mint. The owner said the car has been sitting since summer...and he didnt start it weekly like he should have. He said he put stabilizer in the gas tank(full tank) and its been sitting in cold weather(New York) and wont start. Im trying to decide if I want to buy it but I dont know if it will run or not. The car turns over and seems like it is going to start but it doesnt. Im wondering if you guys have any suggestions on what i can maybe do to get it started. I think im going to offer him 1000$ for it and see if he will take it. The car retails for 4100$ and the owner doesnt know **** about cars so who knows maybe he will take 1000$ for the car. Let me know of any suggestions or inputs on this car or how to get it running.Thanks in Advance.
