whats up everyone i am putting a turbo set-up on my 99si which has a b18c1 powerplant. i am looking to upgrade from my ITR catback to a larger exhaust to allow better efficency in letting ym turbo breathe. any suggestions based on sounds, looks, efficentcy, cost, size??? thanks alot

 

If you have the $$$ then Thermal R&D hands down!!!

You can always get the Kteller 3" piping w/ muffler.

 

the best exhaust on a turbo car is no exhaust at all... but that is not a real life option...

I will be, and a lot of people run 3" mandrel bent catback exhausts w/ 3" downpipes. That would be your best bet for a turbo car if you want to make big numbers. However, having 2.5" isn't going to be the end of the world.

i was lookin at thermal r&d and the pricing isnt too much out of my range but i have never heard one on a turbo honda before

 

well i can vouch for kteller. theyre very nice guys and got good prices too. i'd go with 3" for sure. i've heard some 3.5" and they sound like ***, but 2.5 just doesnt seem to always be enough
