Default antenna wire broke :(

I was removing my radio and the end of the antenna wire comming from the antenna the head got stock in the other end that is connected to the radio. I was wondering what someone might do to fix this? I was think i can just cut both ends off and then get another wire and use that to connect it but not sure if all the antenna wire is a wire or if there more to it then that. Thanks for your help.

So you're saying the connector from the antena is stuck in the radio wire socket?

Like this:

Ant wire -----[-|Plug|-]----- radio wire----[radio]

I'd throw some PB Blaster on it and get out pliers / vice grips before I went cutting anything.
