some Paint/prep prblems
alright my friend talked meh into starting my crx project a little with some simple prep for paint work. The was a Multi color rex do toa run in with a deer before i bought it..it was Mostly all red with a white hood and grey fender, it was painted...with out being sanded with normal spray paint flat black....now meh and friend are doing it right bondoing the normal rex rust spots got fine grain sand paper and put the int he time and started to hand stand the whole car. some of the old flat black came off like no tomorrow and some of it stayed. after all this we buy some black primer and start to primer it... we notice it not wanting to stick on the old black stuff that was there.... we get a rag and jsut whipe it off...it take the primer and the old black paint completely off leaven the orignal paint job there...
so to sum it up any one got any ideas how to fix this or stop this...
oh should i keep the crx flat black or go with something with more... color lol... i do love my flat black...i think if i do decided ont he flat black... switch to a grey primer... what do you guys think...
btw i am a newb to paint
