Default JDM ECU

Is it worth money. I heard that there ECU are programed for 104 OCTANE fuel..Anyone had ever sent there computer and gotit re-programed.

As far as i know ur right JDM Ecu's are programmed to run on 104+ Octane,. since this is the regulation in Japan, but It's not worth the money to get the ecu, since you'll still have to get it chipped/programmed since it does have a 112mph speed limiter, and also JDM Prelude VTEC ecus' cost hella of money, there just not worth it.! just chip/reprogram ur factory USDM ecu!

do you have a link to a website that tells you about the jdm ecu? like that it is programmed for 104 octane.

112 is the top speed.....And I thought we had it bad. The something fishy, Japan wouldn't set they're rev limiter to 112. Thats 4rth gear for me
