my friend was wonder does his 92 si comes with vtec?

which one is it? 91 or 92? 92 si's do, not 91's

eg6... 92 si... for some reason when you drive it, you don't feel it kick on at the rpm... just feel just like any non vtec honda...

Thats because its a stock d series and u probably still have the stock air box on...

uh no lol...try driving it when your engine isnt warmed up cause vtec wont work, then drive it when it is warmed up...and youll be able to tell a diff, as well as see it

look at the tach at about 4.5k and watch how fast it gets to redline compared to a non vtec

What i have herd honda in all 92 civic were prewired for vtec but some dont have vtec but still have the wiring for it...sorry im a noob if i did ne thing wrong on this thread

yes your 1992 Si hatch has vtec... unless someone swapped out the stock motor for a non vtec one

hmmm....ive also heard a couple rumors about this also. Ive driven two 92 si hatchbacks and they feel gutless compared to my girlfriends 93 si coupe. The funny thing is though that there is a vtec solenoid there and seems to wired up.
