I have them for about a year and 6 months now, they havn't blown and you know i give them hell, but you can't use heavy spring rates with them.. Mine now are like 300#ers.. They are fine for that, but thats about it..
I blew a set within a month.

They are a great shock to run with street springs. Can't be run too low or with very stiff springs, but you can't beat the price for a well built single adjustable shock. Run them at the proper ride height, AKA RTFM, and they will last.
The number of adjustments is car-dependent. G3 Integra KYB AGXs are 4 way adjust, front and rear. At least, mine were
I'm thinkin they adjust both bump and rebound on the same ****, and for autoxes, you might end up with too much bump when you have them cranked up enough for rebound. Can't complain though, I haven't blown mine, and I could adjust get out of the car, adjust all 4 shocks and be back in the driver's seat in 45 seconds. (Yes, I timed it) Nice shock for the money.

Ask Mike P. (yellocorn). He had/has them on his Si.
From what I remember, they are ok for mild drops and springs, but blow easy on Hondas with race stiff springs.

havent had any problems with my AGX's. 500f/400r spring rates, and I ride on setting 3/4 everyday. and the car has been lower than 1.5"s for most of its life, and all the shocks still feel good

Got them on my 99 Civic coupe. They are great, esp. when the money is factored in. I'm running them with ERSs of a 380f/450r variety and they work well for me. I do think that I'm probably right at their limit with the spring rates. They've been on the car as they are for 12 months and are doing just fine. (Car is lowered only about an inch.) I'm considering Koni or Bilstein next time, mainly out of curiosity.
i have had my kyb's on my crx for over two years now and have had the suspension techniques springs (much stiffer and lower than stock) and have not had any problems. the second year i autocrossed with my crx four people raced it at each event and they are still good. the agx's are a good inexpensive adjustable shock. i recommend them if you are looking for that.
much thanks guys....i'll will be spending the 200 bones today for them!

I beat the shiit out of my old KYB AGX struts on my old 1992 Si hatchback. DUMPED pretty badly, they handled and rode excellent for over a year of shiitty ATL roads. I rode on settings 4/4 all day everyday, and even my fiancee' never complained about a harsh ride - however she also has a hybird hatch on KYBs! Hers are the non-adjustable silvers, and they ride GREAT!
