ok, i have a 95 ex civic with the 1.6 vtec....i called a parts place for a new distributor, and they asked if i have a 44u, or a 42u...which one is it? please anwer asap, thanks.

also, will a distributor from a 92 civic with a 1.5 d15B work for my civic? please reply fast, thanks

hey thats cool....the distributor im looking at is from a 92 with the d15b, will this fit?
what is the difference between the 42 and the 44?

your 92 d16z6 and the d15b heads have the same casting numbers, the only difference in the heads was the cam so you dist will fit

hey thanks guys! i can get one with oem plug wires for 55 bucks used..if it dont work i guess i can sell it for more? thanks again! any other info i could use please post!

I thought we were talking about the d15b JDM engine with Vtec, not the d15b7 USDM non_vtec base model engine
